Hello Bakehouse friends! While I’m busy perfecting all the goodies coming your way 💕, I thought it was the perfect time to share a little about me and how the farmstand Bakehouse came to be. I grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma, and I’ve always had one foot in the food world. One of my earliest jobs was at the Bristow Stockyards diner, serving tables and dishing up their famous strawberry shortcake 🍓. From there, food became a constant in my life. I worked in many restaurants and roles over the years, with some of my favorites being Texas Roadhouse, Chili’s, and Wings 4 U in Cushing, where I also managed. Through it all, food safety and quality have always been my top priority. I truly believe in making the best-tasting goodies in the safest way possible—and I will never serve anything I wouldn’t proudly eat myself. Life eventually brought me to the Gotebo area (as it often does, girl meets boy 🤍), and in March we welcomed our sweet Stetson Wayne into the world.
